What are the benefits of using a Realm online account to setup online giving donations?
- You can set up your own bank drafting schedule (weekly, biweekly, monthly, etc.);
- You can use a checking account, a debit card, or a credit card to make online donations;
- You can donate to other church programs, or make online payments to church special events;
- You can keep track of all your monetary payments to the church; and
- Your account information will be confidential. Mafair does not have access to your account information.

Can I get assistance with setting up my Realm online account?
Yes, if you choose to make online payments using Realm it is straight forward, just filling in the information. If you require further assistance, please contact the church office and Becky or Ray will be happy to help you get set up.
Will I incur a fee for using Realm for online transactions?
No, Mafair will absorb all of the processing fees. In the near future there will be an opportunity to select the option to contribute towards offsetting the processing costs if you so desire.
How does Automatic Bank Draft work?
Automatic bank drafts are part of the electronic banking system, as automatic bank drafts permit two parties to exchange funds through a paperless process. No check or even a debit card is needed to complete the transfer. You can set up an automatic bank draft with your bank to make a donation to Mafair United Methodist Church just the same as setting up an automatic bank draft to pay your electric bill. The Automatic Bank Draft fund transfer will be shown on your bank statement like any other transaction. You will receive a quarterly contributions statement from Mafair that will show your contribution using the automatic bank draft.
What if I disagree with the Automatic Bank Draft amount shown on my statement?

What if I don’t have enough money in my account to pay my monthly Automatic Draft?
Automatic Bank Draft payments returned for insufficient funds will be subjected to an NSF fee, just as if it were a returned check.
How do I stop, discontinue, or change the Automatic Bank Draft?
To stop, discontinue, or change the next scheduled donation, give your bank the desired order (stop, discontinue, or change) at least three business days before the donation is scheduled. Typically, you can give the order in person, over the phone, or in writing. To stop future donations, you might have to send your bank the stop donation order in writing.
If I make a Pledge to Mafair, does that go into the General Fund?
Yes, pledges go into General Fund which helps to pay for the costs associated with the Annual Budget – General Fund. If you would like, you can designate some or all of your pledge to specific items in the Annual General Fund Budget.
What if I decide to make a change my Pledge payment schedule?
If you have chosen Realm online, then you can make changes on your own. If you have chosen an automatic bank draft, you will need to make that change with your bank. If you need to make a change to your pledged amount and are not using online or automatic bank draft payment you can contact Becky Jaynes at 423-378-9620 or email her at email@example.com and she will assist you in making the change to your pledge.
