Children’s Department Mask Mandate

The Delta Variant is rapidly spreading throughout our county, affecting children at much higher rates than earlier variants of the virus. Protecting the most vulnerable among us is at the heart of our faith. The Regathering Team, responding to a survey Annie sent out to parents, has proposed (and the Church Leadership Council has approved) a mask mandate for all children ages 3-11 and all volunteers in the Children’s Department. The mandate will expire when the seven-day and 14-day average of new COVID-19 cases per 100,000 people falls below 10 and/or two months after the vaccine is available to children.
