One-time Gifts
Offering Plate
You can put cash or a check made payable to “Mafair UMC” in the offering plate on during the worship service on Sunday. If you wish to receive a statement at the end of the quarter for a cash donation, please put the cash in an envelope and put your name on the envelope.
U.S. Mail
You can mail a check made payable to “Mafair UMC” to the church at 1409 E Center Street, Kingsport, TN 37664.
Mailbox
You can drop an envelope with a check made payable to “Mafair UMC” in the black mailbox at the back door at the bottom of the ramp.
One-time or Recurring Gifts
Bill Pay from Your Bank
Ask your bank if they offer a “Bill Pay” service. Once you set it up, the bank will automatically deduct the amount you select from your account and mail a check to the church. This is at no cost to the church and many banks do not charge their customers for this service.
Online Giving
Mafair uses Vanco to process credit card, debit card, and online check donations. You can set up a one-time gift or recurring gifts through the “Give Online” link on the website. There is a slight cost to the church. If you choose, the system can add an additional amount to your donation to help cover the cost of online gifts.
Unless otherwise specified, all donations go to the General Fund (which pays for the expenses to “have church” like staff salaries, utilities, supplies, maintenance, etc.). If you wish to contribute to a different fund, make a note on the envelope or in the memo portion of the check.
